AAP Community Services would like to offer you the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, dedicated, and experienced team with a supportive employer and team culture. We have casual disability support worker positions available, with progression to permanent part time available after qualifying period for the right candidates.
Essential Selection Criteria.
Certificate III or IV Disability Support or equivalent;
Current WWCC and NDIS worker screening checks (or willingness to obtain);
Completion of NDIS New/Worker Orientation Module;
First Aid/CPR Certificate (or the willingness to obtain);
Must have a current Drivers License;
Flexibility to work within a service that provides 24/7 care, this will include weekend work, public holidays, sleepover and/or active night shifts on a rotating roster;
To support the safety of our participants and staff, applicants are required to provide evidence of COVID 19 full vaccination status.
Desirable Criteria.
Demonstrated experience working within the Disability/Community Services sector;
Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) processes.
